Trip to Georgia/Florida: SeaWorld Part 3

Due to Tropical Storm Faye, we only had one day at SeaWorld. It was well worth it though. Thank you Meme and Poppy!! Cody and Tanner had a BLAST!! I was amazed at how well they paid attention to stuff. Take a look at the very last picture to see the bummer of the day.

Cody thought it was hilarious when the whales splashed the crowd!!
Dennis and I were happy that the boys went on the rides. On a trip to Lagoon, Cody would not do a thing. He even bawled when we went on the train there. Anyways, this time it was so fun.

The Horizons show was great too!!

Cody absolutely loved petting the sting rays. Some of the sting rays thought his hand was food, which scared me to death, but Cody just laughed and laughed.

All right, here was the bummer of the day. Due to tropical storm Faye coming, we did get some drizzling here and there. When the boys fell asleep in the stroller, we decided to take the opportunity to take turns going on Journey to Atlantis, SeaWorld's log ride. Dennis and I went first. Long story short, on the very first climb up (to then drop down), the ride stopped due to some malfunction. The bad part was that we were outside when this happened, and then it started to pour. Guess how long we were stuck there . . . 20 minutes!! Oh yeah, and then the lightning started, and may I remind you that we are now only about 20 ft from the highest point in our area of SeaWorld. It was not fun!! By the time they came to unlock our safety bar and get us off, we were completely soaked. I mean shoes, socks, underwear, EVERYTHING!! They let us off the ride, and showed us the exit. I was quite surprised to be honest. At least offer us one of your $20 towels you sell to help dry us off. But no, we were stuck being soaked. Dennis and I were ready to go home at that point. Oh well. Here we are totally soaked.

It looks like you had so much fun! We went to Sea World in California when Jaxon was 5 months old. I guess we are due for another trip.
